About

Hydrolyzed collagen provides bioactive peptides — primarily Pro-Hyp and Hyp-Gly — that stimulate fibroblast proliferation and upregulate endogenous type I and type III collagen synthesis, hyaluronic acid production, and elastin expression in the dermal extracellular matrix. A 2024 systematic review of 26 RCTs found oral collagen peptide supplementation (2,500-10,000 mg/day for 4-24 weeks) significantly improved skin hydration, elasticity, and reduced wrinkle depth compared to placebo.

How It Works

Hydrolyzed collagen provides bioactive peptides (primarily Pro-Hyp and Hyp-Gly) that stimulate fibroblast proliferation and upregulate endogenous type I and type III collagen synthesis, hyaluronic acid production, and elastin expression in the dermal extracellular matrix.
