Third-Party Testing

Independent laboratory verification of a supplement's contents, purity, and potency.

Third-party testing involves independent laboratory analysis of a supplement product to verify that it contains what the label claims (identity and potency), does not contain harmful contaminants (heavy metals, pesticides, microbial contaminants, allergens), and meets purity standards. Because DSHEA does not require pre-market FDA approval, third-party testing fills a critical quality assurance gap. Major third-party certifiers include USP (United States Pharmacopeia), NSF International, ConsumerLab, and Informed Sport. Products bearing these certifications have undergone rigorous testing and ongoing quality audits.
